Anita Herbert started bodybuilding three years ago when her husband encouraged her to go to the gym for the first time. As they trained together, he introduced her to healthy eating and weightlifting.

Anita was hesitant at first but decided to give it a try. She won five NPC overall titles in a row, becoming an IFBB Pro.

She also incorporates a variety of vegetables into her meals. In the off-season, she eats five to six meals daily with more carbohydrates and allows herself one to two cheat meals weekly.
During this time, she limits her sodium intake and drinks one to two gallons of water daily.
Anita Herbert can’t imagine life without peanut butter—her ultimate go-to food! Her love extends to various nut butter as well.
However, she has to keep them out of her home since she finds it hard to resist their allure. In fact, during last year’s competition preparation, a friend gifted her a large jar of peanut butter.

Distinct from other athletes, Anita has no rest days, dedicating Sundays to cardio while her body recovers from weight training.
Her workouts vary, targeting multiple muscle groups on certain days and individual body parts on others. She executes 15-20 reps in 4 sets to maintain and enhance her physique.
She spends about 40 minutes on the Stairmaster or a high-incline treadmill for cardio.
