Beatriz Biscaia’s Fitness Journey

Beatriz Biscaia’s journey started in high school when she began competing nationally, balancing academics and athletics.

Recognizing the importance of goal-setting and mental resilience, Beatriz emphasizes determination to overcome obstacles.

Coach Caesar played a crucial role in her growth, providing inspiration and guidance through Instagram.

In 2016, Beatriz competed in her first Nationals in Portugal, following her father’s footsteps in bodybuilding.

As Beatriz’s competitive success continued, she experienced challenges like decreasing energy levels.

Her coach introduced carb cycling to combat this, allowing her body to recover while maintaining energy.

Beatriz’s discipline and consistency improved with each competition, earning her multiple top-five finishes in her first pro year.

Regarding training and diet, Beatriz focuses on high reps and volume, as Coach Caesar recommended.

Competing frequently helps her refine her presentation and stage presence. While she mostly eats clean, Beatriz allows herself occasional treats.

Beatriz’s training split targets, specific muscle groups, avoiding fast-growing quads. She trains six days a week with two rest days, one a full rest day where she indulges in her favorite foods.

Managing post-competition cravings is challenging, but Beatriz strives to regain control.

Bodybuilding’s disciplined routine appealed to Beatriz, as it promotes happiness and balance through healthy habits.

Her historic accomplishment as the first Portuguese bikini athlete to compete in Olympia reflects her dedication to the sport.

Her family and friends are her support system, encouraging her throughout her journey.
